Board chair, Oshinofa represents FSH at the 2026 Sports Business Awards
Figure Skating in Harlem alumna and 2026 Alumnae Board Chair Oshinofa Lakoju represented our community at the 2026 Sports Business Awards, where she presented Sports Business Journal’s Celebration of Service Award to Soccer Without Borders.
Held on May 20 at the New York Marriott Marquis, the ceremony recognized achievements across the sports industry, including the work of organizations using sport to strengthen communities and expand opportunities for young people. Soccer Without Borders received this year’s Celebration of Service Award for its work connecting youth through soccer, education, and community.
The presentation carried special meaning for FSH, which received the same honor in 2025. Having an alumna return to the stage to recognize the next recipient offered a meaningful connection between our organization’s recognition and the leaders who continue to grow from our programs.
Oshinofa’s participation also highlighted the role of alumnae as ambassadors for FSH. Through leadership and public engagement, they help share the value of a community that supports girls on the ice, in the classroom, and throughout their lives.
We are proud of Oshinofa for representing our students and alumnae, and we congratulate Soccer Without Borders on this recognition.
