Azziana Finds Her Voice and Carries It Forward

Azziana joined Figure Skating in Harlem as a teenager. In just three years, she strengthened the discipline, dedication, and confidence that continue to shape her life and career.

At FSH, balancing skating practices, performances, school, and family taught Azziana how to manage competing responsibilities and stay focused. She also found a supportive community where she could ask questions, express herself, and recognize the power of her own voice.

Today, Azziana works as a Photography & Video Production Assistant, bringing stories to life through media. Whether navigating breaking news or collaborating on fast-paced team projects, she draws on the focus, quick thinking, and leadership she strengthened on the ice.

Her family’s connection to FSH continues, too. Her sister, Jahzara, is celebrating her graduation, while her cousin, Jovie, recently stepped onto the ice for her first season. Each is building her own experience within the same FSH sisterhood.
