FSH Students Take the Stage at the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards
Two of Figure Skating in Harlem’s 2026 graduating seniors—and stars of the Disney+ docuseries Harlem Ice—stepped onto a different kind of stage when they were invited to present at the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards. The occasion brought their journey from the rink to the screen to an awards stage, where they represented FSH and celebrated children’s and family storytelling.
For Tori, who is pursuing theatre in college, the experience connected with her own aspirations as a performer. Presenting offered an opportunity to bring the confidence and poise developed through skating to a new setting, as she looks toward a future in the performing arts.

For our students, the evening was a chance to share their voices and see where their talents can take them. With Harlem Ice also earning an Emmy nomination, it marked a special moment for the girls whose stories are at the heart of the series and the community supporting them.
We are proud to see our students embrace opportunities like this—building confidence, exploring their interests, and imagining new possibilities beyond the ice.
