Sarah France is a non-profit development specialist who has worked across arts and social services organizations throughout her career. A former professional ice dancer, France has spent a lifetime cultivating a deep knowledge of the world of figure skating from its most developmental, grassroots levels to working within the highest competitive and professional possibilities as a choreographer, specialist coach and performer. Bringing together her knowledge of both nonprofit funding and figure skating, she is excited to be supporting the mission of Figure Skating in Harlem as the Director of Development. Always in motion in one capacity or another, France dances (with horses and as an aerialist), creates visual art, enjoys time with her animals, and pursues her wide-ranging interests with passion. She believes strongly in creating opportunities and setting others up for success, which have been guiding principles behind her non-profit development work.
