Program Experience

What will my child learn?
Students learn and practice figure skating skills through instruction on the ice. Go fit and the edge classes are taught before on ice instruction. Through the FSH Creed, they also explore confidence, perseverance, and leadership.
What is the FSH Creed?
The FSH Creed is a set of affirmations that encourages students to believe in themselves and their potential. It helps connect their experience on the ice with life skills such as confidence, perseverance, and leadership. Our Creed encourages students to believe in themselves, persevere through challenges, and embrace their potential as leaders.

Are skates and equipment provided?
Yes. Skates and skating equipment are provided. Contact our registration team with any questions about equipment or what to bring.
How are students grouped for skating?
Students are grouped by skating level so they can receive instruction appropriate to their experience and build their skills.
How is Winter Dreams different from I Can Excel?
Winter Dreams meets once a week on Saturday mornings for skating and life skills through the FSH Creed. I Can Excel is a multi-day after-school program that combines skating with academics and leadership programming.

Program Basics & financial aid

When does the season run?
Winter Dreams runs from December through March. Exact dates and holiday breaks for the 2026–27 season will be announced.
Is financial aid available?
Need-Based financial assistance is available - inquire with our team. There is a $25 early bird discount for families who register by November 13.

Application & Enrollment

Is the interest form the same as an application?
No. The interest form lets us know you are interested and will add you to the contact list for when applications open. It is not an application and does not enroll your child in the program.Families who submit an interest form will be notified when applications open. You will then need to complete the Winter Dreams application.
