Claribel Azcona is an experienced higher education and nonprofit leader with over 13 years of experience in program management, student success, and curriculum design. As the College & Career Success Counselor at Figure Skating in Harlem, she develops and facilitates engaging workshops that help high school students explore college and career pathways, strengthen 21st-century skills, and build confidence in their future potential.

Claribel holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Union College. Originally from New York City, she is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive spaces that empower young women of color to lead with confidence and purpose.

When she’s not at work, Claribel enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring new adventures—whether discovering a new destination, trying a creative activity, or spending quality time with family and friends.
