Volunteer
Figure Skating in Harlem seeks individuals interested in working directly with youth as tutors and skating instructors. We also seek volunteers interested in hosting workshops in careers, job skills, study skills and providing other opportunities for our students on and off the ice. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer skating instructor, volunteer tutor, or an off-ice educator, please contact programs@figureskatinginharlem.org. I'm honored to be a skating coach volunteer with Figure Skating in Harlem -- to share a love of mine with these girls and be there as they get better each week. To see their faces light up when they perform in the show - it's such an incredible feeling. I just might get more out of it than the girls!
